☞ Scroll down to find a free cover for your music binder! You are cooped up indoors and need to get those kids moving. You might not even have a lot of space. This is when you turn on some music and get those wiggles out. Our preschool resides in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. It rains. Okay, it rains A LOT. And while we do take the children outside as much as possible, we still need more activities indoors to let them release that energy. I keep our favorite songs in our classroom, but also take them to the gym for even more movement. These get-up-and-move songs are also handy when you have to wait in between transitions. You know, those times when a child needs to use the restroom just as you are about to line up to go outside. Young children do not like to wait, and don’t normally do it well. Why not try singing and moving to one of these songs instead?
