Inside: If you are looking for an easy preschool painting activity, try painting with balloons. We decided to try this at the easel for a fun vertical art experience!   Have you ever tried painting with balloons? If not, you have been missing out. Seriously, this is so much fun. FUN! I’m not sure if it’s handing the balloons that makes it so much fun, or smooshing the paint around. (Smooshing might not be a word, but I’m going with it.) While we continued to paint at the art table with our toddlers, we added an additional challenge with our preschoolers. We painted vertically.  Yep, we took this activity to the easel. It created a new challenge, but our preschoolers were up for it.

Balloon Painting with Toddlers

You are probably wondering why I’d want to even try this art with toddlers because of the possible mess. Ah, but if you have been following my blog for awhile, you know mess does not scare me. I want them to experience different tools and textures. (Note: if you are looking for mess-free art, try this.)
