Putting together sunflower wall art for toddlers and preschoolers is one of our favorite fall activities. We start by exploring sunflowers, adding sunflowers to various parts of our classroom, reading sunflower books, and even strengthening our fine motor skills with a sunflower sensory bin. What I love about this activity is that it is done by both our toddlers and our preschoolers. The bulletin board we display in the hallway represents both classrooms. Even though they didn’t work on this at the same time (they attend school on alternating days), the project connects them.
