A tradition I started from the start of my teaching profession was to give each student a preschool memory book that highlighted their year in our classroom. These books are handed out the last week of class and my preschool families appreciate them. I often hear from alumni parents how they still look back on these books and cherish those memories. These are so easy to maintain throughout the year and a sweet gift to give from the teachers.

Preschool Memory Book

What we add to our memory books:

On parent night we provide notecards, pens, and stickers and ask the parents to write a note to their children that we can read to them on the first day of school.

Adding the cover:

During the last few weeks of preschool, I print a sheet for the front of the binder and add their handprints.
