Inside: One of our February art activities is this easy Valentine’s craft with foil. Seriously, you just need tin foil and my easy homemade paint (scroll down to get the recipe). That’s it! Our toddler and preschoolers have had so much fun creating Valentine’s over the years. You might recall:

Fun and Easy Valentine’s Craft with Foil
What you will need for this easy Valentine’s Craft:
TinfoilOur homemade paint (scroll down for recipe)
Getting started:
Mix as many colors of paint as you wish to useCut tinfoil into heart shapes
Our homemade paint recipe that was used for this activity:
(Mix up this amount for each color you will be using.)
1 tbsp flour1 tbsp saltLiquid watercolorDish detergent
Combine flour and salt in a small container. Slowly add liquid watercolors until you get a thin paste. Make sure to keep stirring until it is smooth. Squirt a small amount of dish detergent into the mixture. (This helps keep the paint from flaking off the foil, although there still might be a bit of flaking depending on how it’s handled.)
